Sorry…

I have yet again neglected the website after a wonderful trip. Sorry for not posting, but I assure you I have been staying busy making things happen.

Tucson was absolutely delightful. All of the people that Star and I met are really making the decision on moving there easier. Only time will tell but as of today it is either northern Italy or Tucson. Several things have to fall into place for either one of those locations to happen but we are sure trying to get a jump on the process.

Since we have been back in Japan it has snowed a considerable amount. The weather in Tucson was in the 60-70s daily during our visit. In Japan it has been habitually in the low 30sF. Damn cold. So what does this mean for climbing. Well for me it means buying a monthly pass to the local bouldering gym and throwing in a six month Crossfit workout for good measure.

I have heard quite a bit about the Crossfit work out and I feel that it could help my climbing. I have heard that it is intense, endurance driven, and pushes you to your limit. This sounds good to me, since I have been on a plateau for months now. I am going to give it three months with climbing four days a week added into the work out and see what happens. If I am still feeling good and am crushing harder then I will continue for another three months and reevaluate everything again. I have been doing the workouts for 11 days now and the only update that I can give today is that I am sore and amp’ed to keep pushing myself everyday! I would love to hear if anyone has any experience with this workout and can offer any advice or suggestions. I will keep you posted on this process periodically, especially when a particular workout comes up that I feel is interesting.

In work news I have been busy putting together my work from Tucson and planning more shoots for the coming week. The North Face Cup will be held at Base Camp Feb 11-12th. I am putting together several things for this ,so stay tuned on updates from this event.

Until next time enjoy a some photos from the last two weeks and remember….
