Yesterday I decided to take a quick and much needed break from the computer. I have been busy working on several personal projects that I hope to share very soon.
I packed up the little guy, loaded up the crash pad and headed for Mitake’s riverside bouldering area. It was about 90 degrees when we arrived, but in the shade down by the river we found much cooler conditions. I did not have high hopes for the rock due to a previous nights storm, but to my surprise the rock was dry with surprising friction.
Besides a few new friends, the only notable thing that took place was that I almost stuck the crux hold on Kodomo Gaeshi V6+, considering I have not trained in at least two months. I think I will be sending that rather soon. Pumped!!
My trip to Alaska was canceled two hours before the flight was to leave, bummer. I am however, trying to put together some other trips in the next two weeks here in Japan before I am off to the Olympics in Washington for a few weeks. More on that to come soon.
Go Climb Something!!!!
