Winter’s End

Winter is all but over here on Honshu.  The weather for the past three days has been in the 60s in the valleys and in the 40s in the mountains.  The extended forecast shows even warmer temps in the coming days.

Last weekend we hit what looks to have been the last winter days of boarding at Nozawaonsen.   Over 20 inches fell on us over the weekend with an amazing power yield.  That said, we are all looking forward to the warmer temps and the upcoming climbing season.
