What do you do when you have an eight hour layover in Prague?  Google where the epicenter of sights are located and hire a car to drop you off for the day.  That is exactly what I did.

I wound up spending all of my time in what is referred to as Praha 1, or district one.  Most of the buildings of antiquity are still standing unharmed, even after WWII, making this area one of the most beautiful areas in the world.  Unbeknownst to me, Prague is considered the Bohemian Basin, which was very obvious as I strolled around.  I can’t wait to get back over there!!
