The amount of great climbing around the Boulder area is phenomenal.  It seems endless if you don’t mind driving a couple hours or exploring a bit.  The rich history that you feel while in the mountains is ever inspiring.

Recently, I joined North Face athletes Yuji Hirayama and Toru Nakajima on a trip to Colorado.  I was brought in to capture these amazing athletes’ first climbing trip together.  As it just so happened we arrived in the middle of the floods that would wind up devastating so many lives in the Boulder area.  Determined to find dry rock we headed to Rifle.  And the sending began.  After several 5.14’s went down we headed back to Boulder for the next leg of our adventure, bouldering at Mt. Evans!
