about
I have always been an out going person who loves to meet people. I seem to always put myself in positions to be the person that talks to others in groups. That is an aspect of who I am and also a reason I love rock climbing. For some, it is about the climbing or pushing yourself to the limit physically. Both of these are reasons that I love to climb but the people is what hooked me from the start. I am from the New Orleans, LA area and let’s just say that climbing is not a very popular sport. I did not even know what rock climbing was until I was in my mid 20’s. I discovered it while I was trying to figure out who I was. I did not like the person I had become and wanted to change. Climbing gave me the option to me. I was hooked from the words “On Belay” and have not stopped since.
I have since become an AMGA climbing guide and an EMT. Making photos started out as a leisurely activity to document my climbing community. That leisurely activity has since grown into a blossoming passion that I hope to continue throughout my life. I am hoping to use this site to exploit my photographic and adventure pursuits. I also hope you stick around and enjoy the journey too.
If you are in Japan, primarily the Tokyo area, and you are looking for a climbing guide, let me know. I can guide you on trips from bouldering day trips to over night trips into the mountains. If you are a traveling climber and just need to find out the local beta, I would love to help you out too. I look forward to belaying you soon!
